Responsible Gambling

PLAYING RESPONSIBLY IS IMPORTANT

Playing responsibly means being in control of your gambling experience as part of your entertainment. If you have any questions about our responsible gaming tools, our support team is here to help! You can reach us via email or connect with us instantly through live chat.

WHAT IS OUR COMMITMENT TO RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING?

We are dedicated to protecting our players, monitoring fraudulent and criminal activity and averting underage gambling. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the correct tools are in place to help you enjoy your gambling. It is our promise to offer a fair gambling experience and we will ensure transparency with our marketing initiatives.

PREVENTING UNDERAGE GAMBLING

It is a legal requirement within the United Kingdom to be over the age of 18 in order to gamble. It is our responsibility to ensure players who register an account with us go through a verification process to ensure they are of legal age to gamble. There are various protection tools that parents and guardians can implement to prevent underage gambling. CYBERsitter for example is a filtering software that allows parents to add sites which they would like to be blocked. You can find cybersitter on their provider site here.

We also recommend the following tips for parents and guardians to help prevent underage gambling:

1) Never leave your computer unsupervised when your gambling software is running;

2) Keep all account numbers in a safe place, away from underage children;

3) Always password protect your gambling software programs;

4) Do not encourage underage gambling;

5) Never leave your payment card information lying around – keep it securely hidden or out of reach;

6) If need be, set limitations on online activity, and always make sure the online software protector is enabled when minors are surfing the web.

ENJOYING YOUR PLAY

Your time on our website should be an enjoyable experience so we therefore advise that you follow these simple guidelines before and during your play:

1) Make a decision before you play on your limits regarding deposits and losses. Keep up to date with your transactions and check on a regular basis how much time and money you’re spending.

2) Prioritise your daily responsibilities accordingly and ensure your play does not interfere with your normal everyday activities.

3) Don’t play if you are in recovery for any dependency or are under the influence of alcohol or any other substance.

4) Don’t try to chase your losses. If you think that you are losing control of your gambling consider applying a limit, restrict your account or seek further help.

TRANSACTIONS AND GAMING HISTORY

Your transaction history is available online, where you can also see your current cash and bonus balances, as well as deposits and withdrawals.

Your gaming history is also accessible online, allowing you to see how much you have gambled, at what times of the day, in which games, the balance after each bet, winnings and the current total funds available to either continue wagering with or to withdraw.

SELF-ASSESSMENT TEST

Looking at your gambling habits gives you the chance to reflect on how comfortable you are with the time and money you are spending and may prove helpful to identify issues before they become a problem. We have created this self-assessment to help you make that analysis.

Taking the last 12 months into account, answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to each of these questions:

  1. Do I need to gamble with larger amounts of money or for a longer period to get the same feeling of excitement?
  2. Do I feel restless or irritable when trying to cut down or stop gambling?
  3. Have I tried to control, cut back or stop gambling without success?
  4. Do I spend a lot of time thinking about gambling?
  5. Do I often gamble when feeling distressed in some way, like for example anxious, stressed, lonely, guilty or depressed?
  6. Do I chase my losses by trying to win back money I lost?
  7. Have I lied to others about how much time or money I spend gambling?
  8. Has my gambling affected my relationships or my job?
  9. Have I sold possessions or relied on others to lend me money when I have lost it because of gambling?
  10. Do I often play until all my money is gone?
  11. Have I ever thought about self-harm or suicide because of my gambling?
  12. Have I ever stolen money to fund my gambling?
  13. Have I lost interest in my family, friends or hobbies because of my gambling?
  14. Have I ever played under the influence of alcohol or other substances?

If you have answered ‘yes’ to four (or more) of these questions, you may be experiencing problem gambling and we recommend that you consider applying limits to your account(s) or self-excluding, as well as speaking to someone about yours answers.

REALITY CHECK REMINDER

The reality check is a feature which allows you to set a reminder informing you of the time you have spent playing on the site. This facility is available for you to activate online here when logged in, or you can do this by contacting our Customer Service team. The reality check timer will start as soon as you place your first bet and will continue until you either reach your reminder limit or log out of your account (if sooner).

You can set a reality check reminder for a period of every 15, 30, or 60 minutes. When you reach the end of your selected time period, you will be presented with a pop-up message advising you of this and providing you with options to continue playing, view your gaming history or close the gaming session.

The reality check reminder will continue to appear at the selected intervals until you log out of your account. Please note that the reality check reminder may not work as expected if you do not accept cookies or use ‘incognito’ mode on your browser. Should you have any questions about the activation of the reality check or other RG tools, you can contact our support team here.

FINANCIAL LIMITS

It is advisable to decide on your financial limits before you start to play, as the chances of players experiencing gambling related harm is greatly reduced with this in mind. You can set these limits online here when logged in, or you can do this by contacting our Customer Service team.

You can apply these limits to your account generally, or a particular product. Where limits are set in relation to a particular product, separate limits will need to be set for each product.

You can control your play with 3 different types of limits:

The financial limits can be set on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and you can adjust your limits whenever you choose to. If you set simultaneous time frames, for example a daily deposit limit and a weekly limit, the lowest limit will always apply.

You can reduce your limits here when logged in, with immediate effect. Any request to increase a financial limit is subject to a 24 hour ‘cooling off’ period. Once the cooling off period has ended, you will need to confirm your new request in order to activate the increased limit. The original limit will remain active until then and in case you decide you no longer want the change.

If you wish to remove a limit, please contact Customer Service.

TIME OUT

You can request a time out period of 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. Your account will automatically become accessible once the time out period ends.

If you wish to take a break, a time-out period facility is available online here when logged in or by contacting our customer support team.

SELF-EXCLUSION

Self-exclusion is a helpful way to take a break from gambling when it stops being just fun and starts becoming a potential problem. It helps you manage your gaming habits by restricting access to gambling websites. If you’re thinking about self-exclusion, there are two simple ways to get started. Keep reading to learn more or reach out to our support team if you’d like help along the way.

SELF-EXCLUSION VIA GAMSTOP

If you wish to self-exclude from any online gambling platform licensed in Great Britain, GAMSTOP provides a free and comprehensive service to help you do so.

By registering with GAMSTOP, your access to all participating gambling sites will be restricted for the duration of your chosen exclusion period.

To begin the self-exclusion, visit www.gamstop.co.uk and provide your details, including your full name, email address, date of birth, and phone number.

Verify your registration before GAMSTOP adds you to its exclusion register.

GAMSTOP may request further security information, such as identity verification, to finalize your registration.

Once your self-exclusion is active, you will be unable to access or create accounts with any gambling operator connected to GAMSTOP until the exclusion period ends.

If you have any funds remaining in the player accounts, remember to contact customer service to have these released to you.

To find out more and to sign up with GAMSTOP please visit www.gamstop.co.uk.

SELF-EXCLUSION VIA BETSSON

You can also self-exclude with us here at Betsson, by submitting a request via account settings or by contacting our support team by writing to [email protected].

Once initiated, your self-exclusion will apply to only the accounts operated by Zecure Gaming Limited.

During the exclusion period, you will not be able to log in, place bets, or create new accounts.

Should you require a manual payout of account balance please contact our support team via email or chat.

Once a period of temporary self-exclusion has ended, your account will remain closed unless you contact us to reactivate it.

Reactivation is subject to a 24 hour ‘cooling off’ period, from the moment it is requested.

To find out more please contact our support team by writing to [email protected].

We understand that choosing to self-exclude can be a significant step. If you feel you need additional support, we encourage you to reach out to counselling and support services for free, confidential help and are here to support you.
